About the Role
Lovell Camps is seeking a highly energetic, patient, and qualified Ski Instructor to join our Early Years team at the prestigious Grand Bellevue Hotel in Gstaad. This is a highly rewarding, multifaceted role perfect for an instructor who genuinely loves working with young children and toddlers.

You won’t just be teaching on the magic carpet; you will be an integral part of their daily routine. Your days will be a dynamic mix of assisting with the indoor Kids Club supervision, facilitating games and crafts, helping teach basic swimming skills in the pool, and leading daily ski lessons—taking our youngest campers from their very first time on snow to becoming confident “little bombers” on the slopes.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Snow Instruction: Deliver safe, fun, and highly engaging daily ski lessons tailored specifically for children ages 2 to 5.
• Kids Club Supervision: Assist in running the day-to-day operations of the Kids Club at the Grand Bellevue Hotel.
• Activity Leadership: Organize and provide engaging indoor and outdoor games, crafts, and activities that stimulate early childhood development.
• Swimming Assistance: Help supervise and teach foundational swimming skills during scheduled pool time.

Care & Mentorship:

Provide a warm, nurturing, and secure environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our youngest campers at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Ski Instructor Certification: Minimum Level 1 required, though Level 2 is strongly preferred. (Lovell Camps recognizes certifications from SSI, CSIA/CASI, BASI, PSIA/AASI, NZSIA, and APSI).
• Experience with Early Years: A demonstrated passion for, and previous experience working with, young children (ages 2-5) in a childcare, camp, or educational setting.
• First Aid: Current, valid First Aid certification.
• Background Check: A clean criminal background check (mandatory for all staff working with minors).

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with boundless energy, a creative imagination, and the patience to handle the unique needs of toddlers. You should be equally comfortable singing songs in the playroom, splashing in the shallow end, and buckling tiny ski boots on a snowy morning.
