A local, longstanding family business, serving hot food, desserts, hot and cold drinks, and gelato, which is popular with tourists from around the world.
February 2022 – Present
Welcoming and greeting customers when they enter the shop, guiding them to where they need to be and answering any queries they may have.
Delivering high quality and efficient service, in a friendly way, in an extremely busy and fast paced environment at a reputable business.
Memorising 54 different gelato flavours and numerous other menu items and prices to provide personalised recommendations to customers.
Preparing food and drink orders for customers including making coffees using an espresso machine, ice cream sundaes, waffles and pancakes, filling up gelatos to be put out on the counter and restocking the shop.

Skills
Leadership – I coached football to children aged from 6 – 11 years old while I was at school, this helped me learn skills in controlling a large group which I have developed further through my work as a water sports instructor where I must keep groups of up to 50 people safe while taking part in activities.
Time management – I developed good time management skills during my last year of school, as I was balancing 2 jobs, playing 2 instruments, keeping up training for multiple sports, and a busy social life while also studying for exams at school and maintaining good grades throughout the year.
Teamwork – I have played football since I was 4 years old and played for a competitive team since I was 11. This has helped me to develop crucial teamwork and communication skills playing in regional leagues and national cups. I have developed this further through work as for both of my jobs I must work with colleagues and communicate effectively to keep customers both safe and happy.
Communication – This is a skill that I have had to use in many aspects of my life from a young age through playing team sports such as football, and now working as a watersports instructor. I must use constant communication with other instructors to keep customers safe.  In my work as a server, I must communicate and work with colleagues to complete orders as efficiently as possible.

Interests
I play the violin and piano and have obtained a merit in grade 8 piano.

In my spare time I enjoy baking, I have been doing this since I was very young. I also like learning to cook new things.
