Ski rental and technician Full Time Part Time

Summit Ski School & Guiding are looking for rental staff for Ski and Snowboard to join our Niseko and Furano team Winter 2024/25.

Summit are looking for rental and retail staff in both Niseko and Furano. We provide backcountry ski and splitboard rentals to both our own guided customers and walk in guests.  Summit are looking for a team of hard working individuals who are excited and passionate about their job. Our company prides its self on customer service and ensuring our clientele get a holiday experience like no other.

Applicants should have previous experience and knowledge regarding backcountry equipment, this includes using avalanche safety equipment and drilling skis. Applicants who have experience in drilling and mounting ski bindings are at an advantage. Additionally staff should be comfortable working in a shop environment where you are able to talk about the skis, snowboards, bindings etc that we have and be able to give a detailed description to customers interested in buying them.

Criteria

• Experience in Ski rental and or Retail
• Eligible for a Working Holiday Visa or  Japanese work permit/visa
• International Driving Permit
• Fluent in English (Chinese/mandarin is advantage)
• Punctual, Organised and self motivated
• previous seasonal experience is an advantage
• Camera and photography skill is an advantage
